SONV 2024 Course

A 2-week intensive course in Vienna, SONV is a friendly and creative composition course that allowed me to explore new compositional thoughts and ideas and the musical city itself! During this course I had multiple workshops with the incredible flautist Eric Lamb who performed my work 'pebble jump' for bass flute. Throughout the course I had one-to-one lessons with Víctor Báez, Adrián Artacho and Daniel Moser who all offered new points of view on old compositions and ways to improve and develop my work. The guest lectures provided insight into the composer's works and their studies and learning from my peers on the course who were being taught in various institutions around the world. It was insightful learning about other teaching practices, and university structures from other places.
